Supplier of cable trays for cable routing for the industry

The cable trays from SILTEC are made of first-class stainless steel that prevents corrosion and ensures a good level of resistance.

This new Siltec product is a horizontal cable tray which has been designed for horizontal applications with a large width but no mounting options. The horizontal series features the same assembly fittings as all our other standard cable trays.

When mounting options are limited

Horizontal cable trays are made of solid, rounded materials that are gentle to cables and tubes.

Horizontal cable trays are available in various sizes: from 200 to 600 mm width, 55 mm height and 3000 mm length.

Horizontal cable trays

SILTEC’s horizontal cable tray is developed for installations, where stable cable routing is required across long spans and where traditional suspension methods are not possible. The design is especially suitable for horizontal applications where cables must be routed safely over longer distances with free-span support.

The series is engineered to maintain high strength and stability, even under demanding installation conditions, ensuring a reliable solution for technical and industrial environments. The horizontal model uses the same connection fittings as SILTEC’s other standard cable trays, which makes it easy to integrate the cable tray into existing systems and installations. The open construction also provides excellent ventilation around the cables, as well as easy access for inspection and maintenance.

The result is a robust, flexible, and installation-friendly cable management solution for projects where large spans and simple installation are important.

Horizontal cable trays comes in lengths of 3000 mm. Tray widths range from 25 mm to 600 mm, and heights from 25 mm to 125 mm. We can also manufacture cable trays in custom dimensions upon request.

Why choose a cable management system?

A cable tray is a steel structure designed to support cables above the floor or inside walls/ceilings.

Cable management systems are manufactured in various sizes and designs to help organize cables while ensuring accessibility and air circulation around the cables, reducing the risk of overheating.

The main reason for choosing cable trays is that they are very effective at organizing cables while also protecting them from damage caused by heat or moisture. With a cable tray solution, your cables can easily be added or removed without having to reroute all the other cables every time a small modification is required in your setup.

Investing in a cable tray system also gives you economic benefits. Operating costs are reduced because there is no need to purchase new cables or involve an electrician every time an unexpected issue arises. Troubleshooting becomes easier and faster, allowing problems to be identified quickly and accurately.

We manufacture our cable trays in stainless steel

At SILTEC, we manufacture our cable management systems in premium-quality stainless steel.
This prevents corrosion and provides several important advantages. A stainless-steel cable tray offers high resistance to corrosion from moisture, chemicals, and salt.

As a result, the cable tray achieves a long service life and requires minimal maintenance compared to galvanized alternatives. Stainless-steel cable trays are particularly suitable for industrial and hygiene-sensitive environments, as the surface is smooth and easy to clean.

Joints, supports and accessories

When choosing a SILTEC cable management system, you get access to a large and complete range of joints, bends, and suspension solutions for our cable trays.

It is easy to create bends and angles. These can be made directly on site from a standard cable tray without the use of special tools. Vertical bends are produced in the same way by cutting out sections. Branch connections are manufactured similarly to T-junctions.

Installation of our cable trays requires only minimal tools and is straightforward to perform.

When installing horizontal cable trays

When installing cable trays, it is important to work systematically to ensure a correct and durable solution. First, the area should be carefully measured so that space conditions are clearly determined and the correct cable tray size can be selected.

The cable tray must then be securely installed to ensure long-term stability without loosening over time. In this process, it is important to consider both the installation method and material selection.

When installing a cable tray system, it is recommended, that a professional technician inspects all connectors and joints to ensure that cables and wires are connected correctly and safely before the system is put into operation. Any additional equipment, such as fans and filters, also needs to be installed correctly to ensure optimal performance and long service life.
